Variety is just one of the many dogs and cats that have been rescued by the Almost Home Foundation. The Almost Home Foundation is a volunteer-based organization committed to giving abandoned or stray dogs a second chance. This foundation's work reaches out in the Elk Grove Village, Addison, Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Barrington, Barrington Hills, South Barrington, Inverness, Wood Dale and it's surrounding areas in the state of Illinois.
Not only is the Almost Home Foundation working to save abandoned and stray dogs, but the volunteers there also save animals from High Kill facilities throughout the state of Illinois and even beyond the state's borders. Each and every person working at the Almost Home Foundation is a volunteer. It is obvious that these people are fully committed to saving these precious animals and providing them with a better life.
